Therefore the correct study of design and lighting is fundamental, not only to present the products in the best possible way but to create the right atmosphere to strengthen the direct shopping experience which is what distinguishes retail shopping from online shopping. Light can be used to create emotions, value, and focus. The red lighting around the mirror next to the entrance of the retail outlet creates visual interest while inviting the customer to interact. A similar idea was used in the changing room where lighting colour can be changed by the customer to interact with different emotions that the products can transmit to the individual who is trying on. This is also an interesting element that for its uniqueness, it also encourages people to snap photos and share on various social media platforms, serving as a marketing tool for the outlet, which nowadays is one of the biggest factors in advertising. The tube lights at the entrance of this outlet, which are used for a particular display, enhance and highlight the products in that specific area that have a certain value and hype in today's sneakerheads’ world. The direct light, and the way it is presented, is a way to communicate to the customer that this product is significant and that is why they are paying a relative price. The correct colour temperature used in the technical lighting such as the tracks, which in this case was 4000K, is crucial to present the product the right way so that there are visual alterations in the actual colours of the products. The corrugated metal sheet, metal mesh, plywood, PVC, metal laminate and neon led signs are all materials that represent the street element. Neon lighting, which started as a scientific experiment in the 20th century, is a form of art that expresses freedom, creativity, and innovation, which is the concept on which this retail shop was designed and hence it is indeed very adequate.
