Bottone
The Concept of Bottone Milan
Bottone Specialist Pasticceria, situated in the heart of Milan, is not your typical Italian pastry shop. Bottone, being the surname of the founding brothers, inspired the brand identity; stylised red button symbolising the surname and seal of quality. This design has been implemented in various areas within the experience. Daaa Haus along with sister company Logix Creative have come up with a concept giving the product and establishment a strong, luxurious brand experience. This has been achieved through the effect of minimal and clean designs, the use of luxurious material, brass trimmings and touches of designer elements such as Vondom Stools. The idea is to shed a different light on what is typically known as an Italian pastry shop, hence creating a luxurious Cannoli shop. One of the ways the concept attracts street traffic is through the use of the luxurious facade ; when passing by, one would think it is a prestigious jewellery shop. In the case of Bottone, the ‘Cannol’ is representing the diamond, taking centre stage in the shop. The thorough use of detail was emitted throughout the shop, in the branding and even on the pastry itself. The signature of the brand is actually seen within the product. The story of the pastry is is embedded in concrete finishes behind the brass counter to further enhance the brand identity. The idea is to transform a purely Mediterranean product into a high end food delicacy that is just as pure and delicious yet keeps up with the fast moving, stylish Milan lifestyle.
