Accounts Clerk
DAAA Group Ltd is seeking a qualified Accounts Clerk to join our team. Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications to admin@daaagroup.com.
The selected candidate will form part of the Accounting Team. They will assist the Accounts Manager in the day-to-day running of the department.
Responsibilities will include:
- Reconciliation of Settlement Accounts, and the servicing of receipts and payments;
- Daily and month-end book-keeping;
- Assist with documentation completion such as surveys, statements, etc;
- Cost/revenue control supervision and assessment;
- Assist with the stock-take for auditing purposes;
- Assist with debt chasing;
- Recording and filing of documents;
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects.
Candidates must:
- Have minimum A’ Level/ AAT Accountancy qualification or in the initial stages of ACCA;
- Have minimum 3 year experience in a similar role;
- Have good analytical and communications skills;
- Work on own initiative, prioritize own work and meet deadlines;
- Be proficient in the use of IT applications, with particular expertise in Microsoft Office tools;
- Advanced language skills in English and Maltese, knowledge of Italian would be considered an asset;
- Be a good team player in every aspect.
This role requires a meticulous person having excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, is flexible, able to proactively work to strict deadlines and own initiative. The person must be a dedicated team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
