Situated in Msida near the Skate park, our main goal was to create a space that reflects the atmosphere and energy of the skatepark area whilst also bringing the same youthful and playful vibe found in the Abrazo Sliema Outlet.
By using a blend of different materials such as the iridescent front of bar cladding, glass blocks, stained wood in a blue tone and the graffiti wallpaper in the bathroom we gave the space a kick of energy, warmth and a cozy/welcoming place to frequent.

We based our colour palette on the blues and pinks, representing their brand colours. We wanted to give Abrazo Skatepark a raw, underground & skater feel, yet still incorporating that warm and homey character. By combining the raw concrete wall finish and the corrugated metal sheets along with the pink exposed ceiling, iridescent cladding, pink fabrics and walnut woods, the eatery was given a playful vibe that represents both Abrazo and the area that it is situated in.

Incorporating an industrial & playful feel through the selection of the loose furniture items was also an added bonus. Stools with a stainless steel base and a walnut seat helped bring out the raw yet warm concept that we were aiming for. Low stools and Chairs with a touch of the Abrazo blue and pink helped bring out that playful and fresh touch that everyone associates with Abrazo.
