A contemporary maisonette nestled in the heart of Għargħur, Casa Binova was designed by DAAA Haus as a refined and welcoming home where natural light, materiality and atmosphere work in harmony. Daylight enters through the front of the residence, filtering gently through sheer curtains and casting soft, ever-changing shadows that shape the mood throughout the day. A carefully balanced palette of warm earthy tones, textured fabrics, stone finishes and rich dark wood finishes brings depth and character to the interior, while sculptural furniture and clean architectural lines create a distinctly contemporary expression.
The open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas flow seamlessly into one another, maintaining a sense of openness while each space retains its own identity through considered finishes, bespoke joinery and statement lighting. Darker elements are thoughtfully contrasted with soft neutral upholstery and light surfaces, creating an interior that feels sophisticated yet calm and comfortable. Throughout the home, layered illumination plays an essential role: discrete linear lighting highlights architectural details, decorative fixtures introduce visual interest, and warm accent lighting creates a more intimate atmosphere.
