The concept was to transform the place into a modern and chic establishment where one may escape the bustling street and enjoy a one selection of food, wines and whiskies. Originally the garage of 19th century town house in Sliema, Rocksalt was transformed to a café/ restaurant during the years. This box garage shape inspired us to somehow make it a feature and by using the right the materials, colours, furniture and communication we have managed to integrate well with the brand experience. The interiors are decorated in a minimalist style with clean lines and dark tones, features are reflected in the seats and tables selected from the collaboration with the Italian company Pedrali. The dark tones were inspired by the lack of natural light the space had.
