The gallery was set up by Daaahaus interior design and architecture studio, to serve as our new work space and as a continuously changing gallery of materials and products.
A unique platform welcoming design professionals and aficionados to visit and discover new and current trends.
Situated on a side street in San Gwann, amongst auto mechanics, the space was intentionally kept very raw, urban & understated.
So as part of the Malta design week we hosted clients & friends to show off our new home and celebrate all things RAW – The absolut RAW cocktail and Sushi courtesy of Medasia being a highlight of the event.
Guests also enjoyed artist Matthew Micallef creating his latest sculpture from a block of wood in the new space which celebrates the use of stripped back, paired down styling and materials.
Ply wood, chip board, exposed lighting cables & bulbs, rope, wire mesh and concrete flooring all feature in order to allow other materials to make a statement.
Thanks to all who came along and made it a very special evening !
